Shane Albers is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of IMH Real Estate Financiers (IMH).  Albers is responsible for the strategic positioning of IMH and the execution of the company’s vision. With Albers direction, IMH manages over $700 million.

 

Albers has nearly 20 years of experience in banking, title and private lending.  He chairs the fund’s loan committee and is the primary author of the corporate underwriting standards and loan administrative policy. Albers’ oversees and is actively involved in all IMH transactions.

 

Albers is a member of the Arizona Association of Mortgage Brokers and the National Association of Mortgage Brokers; Arizona Private Lenders Association; Social Venture Partners; Vistage International; Keiretsu Forum; Urban Land Institute and is a member of the United Way De Tocqueville Society.  He also is an advisory board member for the Fisher Center of Real Estate and Urban Economics at the Haas School of Business at University of California, Berkeley.  Albers is a graduate of the University of Arizona.
