Mr. Meris is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the company and the IMH Secured Loan Fund ("the Fund"). He oversees the capital formation activities for the Fund and the relationships with broker-dealers and major investors. Mr. Meris was the principal architect of the Fund structure. Prior to partnering with Mr. Albers in 2003, Mr. Meris opened and operated three branches of a residential mortgage brokerage, and had for many years managed private equity funds. Mr. Meris has served as chairman of the board and president of several small growth companies, both privately held and publicly traded on NASDAQ. Mr. Meris is a member of Leadership 100, and works with other civic and charitable organizations. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University.
